Our Mayor takes enormous pride in issuing proclamations in recognition of noteworthy people, programs, and organizations that contribute to the greater good of the Town of Elm City. 

Requesting a Proclamation

All proclamation requests should be submitted to our Town Clerk by email, or mail, a minimum of three weeks in advance.

All requests should include:

​

• Name, address, telephone number and email of the person submitting the request

• Title and/or nature of the event

• Date(s) of the event

• Brief history of the organization to be honored or biographical summary of the person to be honored
